What Is The Perfect Derma™ Peel

The Perfect Derma™ Peel is the ONLY medical grade peel on the market that contains the master antioxidant Glutathione. Glutathione is a well-documented anti-aging antioxidant produced by the human body. However, production diminishes with age and exposure to environmental stress.

Glutathione penetrates deep into the cellular level of the skin to help reduce free radical damage, brighten the skin and slow down the aging process.

Regular peels help prevent fine lines and wrinkles, enhance overall skin health and inhibit melanin production.

What happens after:

The Perfect Derma Peel RX treatment includes a take-home Patient Home Care Kit containing all the directions and products you’ll need to care for your skin and maximize your peel results.

Here’s an overview of expectations for the first week after your in-clinic visit.

Day 1, day of treatement

The day of your treatment. The peel solution should remain on the treated area for at least six hours, during which, you will not wash, touch or apply any products, even sunscreen. You’ll be advised if use of the Post-Peel Moisturizer is appropriate for you to use after six hours. Some patients may be advised to keep the peel solution on into the evening or even overnight.

From here on wards, the Post-Peel Moisturizer may be applied 2-3 times per day as needed to calm any irritation, although best results are achieved if no moisturizer is used until peeling begins around day three. If additional irritation occurs, you may apply a cold compress.

Reveal Your Best Skin Yet

Whether you’re addressing sun damage, redness, or simply seeking a brighter, more youthful look, our medical spa services are the perfect fit.

Day 2, Morning:

The treated area may appear to be darker and skin may feel tight. After a gentle wash and dry, you’ll use the first Post-Peel Towelette and leave solution on for 50 minutes. Then apply the Mineral Protection SFP 30, and if you desire, your usual make-up.

Day 2, Evening:

About an hour before bedtime, you’ll gently wash and dry the treated area. Apply the second Post-Peel Towelette and leave the solution overnight.

Days 3-6:

During the peeling process, avoid activities that cause sweating, including saunas, time in the sun, and exercise. Once peeling begins, use the Post-Peel Moisturizer 2-3 times per day.

This should relieve skin tightness and control peeling. Your practitioner will have more detailed directions on use of the moisturizer as it varies over ethnicities.

For best results, skin must naturally peel; do not pick or rub the peeling skin as scaring is a possibility. Morning and evening, cleanse gently, and apply the Post-Peel Moisturizer.

The Mineral Protection SPF 30 should be used every two hours during any sun exposure.

Day 7:

Generally, the peeling process is completed, although a few more days of mild sloughing remain. Continue to use sunscreen.

Questions and Answers

The Perfect Derma Peel combines powerful ingredients with effective acids to deliver
outstanding results after one treatment. This unique formula allows for an increase in lifting of fine lines and wrinkles as well as a lightening of Melasma, sun damage and hyper-pigmentation. The Perfect Derma Peel is a non-invasive relatively pain free treatment that entails only 2-3 days of peeling.

After one treatment of the Perfect Derma Peel, overall skin tone and complexion will appear smooth, glowing and fresh. Depending on skin conditions, multiple treatments may be necessary for desired results. A series of 2-3 treatments applied once every 4 weeks will allow for optimal results for more severe skin conditions such as Melasma and active acne.

As long as the skin is maintained with proper skin care products like the Perfect A, the Perfect C, and the Perfect Bleaching Cream the improved results will last. We recommend two to three treatments  of the Perfect Derma Peel per year to sustain desired results for regular maintenance and rejuvenation.

Answer: All skin types (Fitzpatrick 1-6) are safe to treat and will benefit from the Perfect Derma Peel.

The Perfect Derma Peel requires no preconditioning of the skin prior to treatment. Only those patients who use Accutane must stop usage (4) months prior to treatment in order to achieve desired results.

The patient may feel a slight stinging or tingling sensation which will subside after 30-60 seconds. Numbing takes place once the first pass of the Perfect Derma Peel solution is applied. A fan or cool breeze may be used for the comfort of the patient.

The Perfect Derma Peel application only takes 15 minutes to administer.

The amount of peeling skin associated with the Perfect Derma Peel is mainly a sloughing of thin sheets of epidermis skin that begins around day three and generally is completed by day six or sev0en.

Immediately after the peel has been applied the skin will either appear red, like a sunburn, or darker. On day three, peeling will begin. The Perfect Derma Peel Moisturizer will reduce the visibility of peeling by hydrating. By day six or seven the peeling process should be complete and the results are dramatic.

Normal activities may be resumed immediately post peel. We only recommend avoiding heavy exercise and excessive sweating during the peeling process.

The day the peel is applied the patient should not put any make up or other products on his or her face post peel. Make may be worn on day 2 of the peeling process.
